North Beach Fish Camp

Super Experience - Give it a try! One our team at Mayo Clinic recommended this spot while we were there and even though it was 25 minutes away they said it was worth it. Boy was she right! We made a reservation for two on a Tuesday night and the place was very busy. Seated on time, we were welcomed by our server, Joy, who was a joy. My bride had the blackened grouper special and I had the Sesame crusted Haddock special - both were terrific. We started off with a cup of NIck's Seafood soup and some grilled Octopus. The octopus was a bit over-charred but quite savory still. We finished with a serving of bread budding - a house specialty and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, the manager checked in on us and we felt the prices were VERY reasonable. A true trifecta! We would return!

Eric was an excellent server. I got the recommended “blackened catch of the day (mahi-mahi) with grits and collard greens” and it was one of there best things I have ever eaten. The flavors were extremely well balanced and I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the dining experience. Will definitely be back anytime I am in Jacksonville, FL!

Arrived to our hotel within walking distance to several restaurants..this one caught our attention with the menu..we had the best dinner ..fresh fish and oysters...great drinks. The best part was Joy our server!! She was so fun amd kind. Made great recommendations. I asked for a cosmo, not to sweet, she made sure it was perfect. My husband wanted oysters for dessert and she made sure he got them even though they were close to closing. We did come back the next night since we had such a great experience .Joys section was full..we didn't get the same service or kindness..my steak was not cooked when I asked for med well, (yes i am that person) it was very red. I should have stuck the fish!! The server hardly came by amd seemed distracted, but it was busy. So I would return but only to sit where we can have Joy!!

Great food and great service! Mitchell, our server was polite, helpful in our food selections and check on us just the right amount. The fried shrimp and Ahi tuna were delicious and crab bisque was absolutely amazing!

Absolutely amazing food, location and service and reasonable prices. If you love seafood, this should be on your radar. The foods were fresh and whether its the gator tails, conch fritters, calamari, seafood broil or whole fried fish, everything tasted amazing. Recommend 100%.

The oysters were very fresh and hit the spot. As for the boil, the crab really did it for me. Paired with butter, it really can't get better than this. I was not a big fan of the shrimp and clams in the boil, but everything else was quite good. I think what made this experience especially enjoyable was Eric our server. He knew literally everything on the menu and was very nice. Definitely recommend this spot!

One of the greatest fish restaurants i ever visited!! It’s based on first come first serve. But dishes are incredible tasting!! They have grouper, halibut, cod. All great and tasty fishes. Bar tender Paul, is a rocket guy. Atmosphere is so positive and vibrant, good people!!!

Visiting Jacksonville and came in for an early dinner. Place was busy but not packed. Seated immediately and server was very helpful and quick. Recommend you check out the menu ahead of time. I am down to try new things, and enjoyed the soup special. Loved the salmon but would have substituted the sides.
